Renovation of a former rectory of an 11th-century church into a studio-home. The project preserves the original structure and historical materials, integrating them with contemporary elements. Fluid and functional spaces alternate with pre-existing volumes, enhanced by a neutral palette and natural finishes. The custom-made furniture soberly interprets the dialogue between memory and modernity.
Main materials: local stone, natural wood, lime, burnished iron.
Color palette: neutral and warm tones, contrasting materials.
Lighting: diffused and spot lighting to enhance textures and volumes.
Character: sober, refined, consistent with the historical context.
